The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) has accepted the results of the March 4, 2024 PIPP RFP to procure supply for Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP) customers of Duke Energy Ohio, Inc. The RFP procured supply for 100 percent of the PIPP load for the June 1, 2024 to May 31, 2025 delivery period. The Finding and Order is available here. 

The Benchmark Price for the PIPP RFP scheduled for March 4, 2024 is $73.03/MWh. The price bid in the PIPP RFP must be less than the Benchmark Price.

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) has accepted the results of the May 3, 2022 PIPP Supplemental RFP to procure supply for Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP) customers of Duke Energy Ohio, Inc. Duke Energy Ohio, Inc. announced that a PIPP RFP process will be conducted to procure full requirements service for their Percentage of Income Payment Plan (“PIPP”) customers for the delivery period June 2018 through May 2019. View the full news release (PDF).

The RFP procured supply for 51 percent of the PIPP load for the June 1, 2017 to May 31, 2018 delivery period. 

The Benchmark Price for the PIPP RFP scheduled for April 4, 2017 is $49.74/MWh. The price bid in the PIPP RFP must be less than the Benchmark Price.  

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) has accepted the results of the May 3, 2016 PIPP RFP to procure supply for Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP) customers of Duke Energy Ohio, Inc. The RFP procured supply for 17 percent of the PIPP load for the June 1, 2016 to May 31, 2017 delivery period. 

The Benchmark Price for the PIPP RFP scheduled for May 3, 2016 has been updated to $48.34/MWh. The price bid in the PIPP RFP must be less than the Benchmark Price.
